National Geographic Educator Certification
I enrolled in the Educator Certification course in the spring of 2019 and earned my certification in June. This journey has helped me learn more about global education, especially in regards to geographic competence. It has given me a new lens of connecting students to the natural world through various perspectives. I have learned how to inspire students to be curious about the world around them and tackle their inspiring ideas! Click on the link to the left to see my capstone project!
Perspectives
The graphic to the right shows how the human and natural world interact with each other. It also displays a wide array of perspectives that could be present when thinking about various issues. There are many more possible perspectives out there.
Scales
The graphic to the left shows the different scales. It is important we have students explore multiple scales to see how they personally affect and fit into world.
